A reminder if you struggle to say no…

You can say no and still be a kind person.

You can say no and still be a generous person.

You can say no and still be a helpful person.

You can say no and still be a compassionate person.

You can say no and still be a liked person.

You can say no and still be a reliable person.

You can say no and still be a caring person.

You can say no and still be a diligent person.

You can say no and still be a responsible person.

You can say no and still be an ambitious person.

Saying no when you want to doesn’t make you mean, selfish, hard, thoughtless, self-centred, inconsiderate or difficult.

Here are 10 ways to say no kindly and clearly:

1. No, thank you.

2. No, I won’t be there, have a great time.

3. It’s kind of you but no thanks.

4. I’m saying no this time.

5. I appreciate the thought, it’s not for me.

6. Thank you for the opportunity but it’s a no.

7. No, thanks for asking anyway.

8. No, I’ll pass this time.

9. Not this time but do ask again another time.

10. That’s not for me but thanks for the suggestion.
